About Us

Studio5 is a quality and affordable, budget photography and content creation studio for hire in central Manchester.

We’re located just off the city centre ring road with great access to Manchester city centre.

Our studio is clean and well equipped, with the following:

x2 Bowens 500w flash heads with wireless trigger
Photography cove (use of the photo cove, or a white backdrop is included with the hire of the studio)
x2 Bi-color dimmable LED continuous studio lights for film or photography (3200 to 5600K)
3m photography backdrop stand
3×3 meter fabric green screen
A selection of diffusers, reflectors
Polyboards and stands
A selection of stands and grips
Make-up table with mirror
Seating area with tea, coffee, water
WiFi
Bluetooth speaker

*Other coloured paper backdrops are available for £10 each per session, please request at time of booking to check available colours.

Please note that the studio isn’t soundproofed.

Getting Here

Studio5 is a 15-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station or a 5-minute Taxi.

From New Islington or Holt Town tram station, it’s a few minutes walk.

The studio has a goods-in entrance and a large heavy goods lift if bringing equipment.

Free on-street parking is available on Lind Street and Cowan street and adjoining streets where there is no yellow line.
